Fox and Disney Merger Approved
Disney has long been pining for the company known as 21st Century Fox, and has been bidding extreme amounts of money for it. Now, after the late July shareholders meeting, it looks like Disney has finally almost acquired the company. Numerous reports have confirmed that the shareholders at 21st Century Fox have approved the merger during the vote, and now the government has to seal approval as the deal moves forward. It will remain to be seen as to how long this will take to be implemented, but the deal has been officially confirmed to be all but finalized.
