Infinity War Thanos Cut on the Horizon?
Fans of the MCU were thrilled to find that Thanos, the big bad that has been teased since the first Avengers, was everything that they wanted and more. However, there may have been some who did want more, and now they might be getting it. As Avengers: Infinity War prepares to close down its theatrical run and hit home video, Jim Starlin, Thanos creator, may have revealed than an all-new Thanos cut of the film is coming. According to Collider's Jon Schnepp, who was able to talk to Starlin at Las Vegas Comic Con, Starlin said that there was over 30 minutes of unused Thanos backstory footage that the filmmakers, Joe and Anthony Russo are planning to reintegrate into a new cut of the film. While the film that we got did its best to develop the Thanos character, an extra thirty minutes might serve to flesh him out even further. It remains to be seen.
