Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Threaten Lawsuit
Justice League Dark has been moving forward under the name Dark Universe for Warner Bros. while the Universal shared monster universe has been operating under the name Dark Universe. What does this mean?
Since both studios cannot come to an agreement regarding the name and the rights to the title "Dark Universe" Warner Bros. has decided that it may be time to consider legal action regarding the case. Warner Bros. is allegedly considering filing a lawsuit against Universal Pictures because of the fact that their Justice League Dark has been operating under the title "Dark Universe" since 2013. It's yet to be seen what Universal is going to do, or if this turns out to be true at all and Warner Bros. decides to move forward with this.
