Ant-Man and the Wasp - Official Trailer Review
Thoughts: Was it the best piece of marketing that I've ever seen? Absolutely not. But was it fun? Absolutely. As many have pointed out, this looks like the perfect counter to the dark, serious, deep Infinity War. It looks to follow up with a fun, light-hearted adventure, and I for one, am all for it.
We see the same charm and wit that we came to love form Paul Rudd as Ant-Man in both Ant-Man and Civil War. And an exciting new villain, Ghost (anyone can be better than Yellowjacket except for Whiplash), takes some of the spotlight.
We also see some exciting new shots of the Wasp in action, fighting side by side with Paul Rudd, which looks like it's going to be extremely wonderful to see. And finally, we get some great gags from Luis as well as one between Laurence Fishburne's Bill Foster and Scott Lang.
All in all? Not bad. Not bad at all.
Did it Raise Excitement? It did. I was looking forward to this film, but especially after Infinity War, this is going to be the perfect palette cleanser that we all need. This looks to be a fun action-comedy, and I can't wait.
