Bumblebee - Official Teaser Trailer Review
Thoughts: Having not previously seen any Transformers movies (but knowing their tremendously bad reputation), and having a minimal knowledge of the universe, I went into this trailer with very little expectation, and a very open mind. And I thin that worked to my benefit because I enjoyed this trailer.
IS this the best trailer ever? Absolutely not. But for what it's worth, this trailer gave us a great idea of what the general tone of the film is going to be without giving too much away of the actual plot.
As someone who has very little knowledge of anything Transformers, this trailer gave me a very general idea of what to expect, and mildly peaked my interest. I enjoyed Hailee Steinfeld in the trailer, and saw a couple glimpses of John Cena as a member of the military (?) which should be fun I suppose. So overall, not a bad trailer at all.
Did it Raise Excitement? Considering that my excitement level was next to none, yes it did raise my excitement. While not completely sold on wanting to see the film as of yet, I am mildly interested, and should the coming trailers be convincing enough, I may end up seeing the film.
