The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part - Trailer 1 Review
Thoughts: There were enough things in this trailer to make me interested, but overall, in my humble opinion, was not good.
I would like to preface this by saying that I didn't enjoy the first trailer to the first Lego Movie at all either. And yet, I went into the film and had a great time, so this does not mean at all that this film is going to be bad.
I did enjoy the idea that the film picks up in a post-apocalyptic world, and I loved seeing Batman, Emmet, and Wyldstyle. But the overall tone of the trailer felt all over the place, very disjunct. I found myself rather bored and confused throughout the majority of the latter half of the trailer.
Did it Raise Excitement? It didn't raise my excitement, but it actually didn't lower my excitement either, simply because this was the exact same situation that occurred with the first film, and that film turned out great.
