Wonder Woman 2 Heading Back to the 80s
With the massive success of the first Wonder Woman, despite the significant shortcomings of Justice League, it was all but confirmed that a sequel was coming. With recent reports of Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot returning, as well as newcomers Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig, we now may have the first teaser image/logo from the film. As seen above, DC has officially released an image with a retro-style WW with the numbers 84 attached, implying that the film will take place in 1984. Recent reports have also said that the film will use the Cold War as a backdrop.
Wonder Woman 2 will hit theaters on November 1st, 2019.
